Vin de la Neu

2022

Full of mountain energy, it evokes notes of mixed medicinal herbs such as thyme, marjoram, pine needles, dwarf pine, white moss, boxwood, grapefruit and lime. The contrast with the “true” citrus component is gratifying and engaging. With time in the glass, it opens up and offers memories of chamomile, helichrysum and vetiver. Medium body, concrete and linear structure: it shows grace and a delicate presence combined with a splendid, genuine progression. Great drinkability and substance.

This vintage produced 1,000 bottles.

Precise and intriguing in its sensory profile, it shows notes of lemon flowers, jasmine, linden, and ginger. A lot of basil and green tea leaves describe the secondary scene of excellent manufacture. Full-bodied, with an harmonious and balanced structure of great brilliance, and a savory, well-focused finish with excellent smoothness.

Extremely fascinating.

It shows mixed floral and fruity notes reminiscent of magnolia flowers, gardenias, hydrangeas, chamomile flowers, white peaches, ground almonds and rose petals. There’s more to the undertones of thyme and white pepper that describe the secondary profile. It is sweet in the main soul, perhaps the sweetest on the nose ever. Full body, decidedly linear and biting sapid structure and a juicy and bold finish that makes the precision of execution and the length of the aftertasting its main weapon. Drink now or let it age.

Delightfully complex, heading in numerous different directions.

The wine is clear, bright and lemon-yellow in color with hints tending toward green. The nose hints of fresh white-fleshed fruit with quince, pears and white peaches. In the secondary scene, fresh and balsamic notes reminiscent of lemongrass, peppermint and eucalyptus alternate in the glass as time passes. On the palate the body is medium-full, polyphenolic structure of incredible beauty and a juicy, bright finish that perfectly combines horizontal power with vertical closure.

A masterpiece of Johanniter grapes.

Only 941 bottles and 30 magnums produced.
